Step 1
To adjust the sound quality for encoding, use good software that supports a large number of options for working with sound, for example, software utilities from Sony. Download software from the Internet or purchase from an online store. Most of them are paid, and their free counterparts often do not support the same set of functions, but they are quite suitable for processing the quality of an audio file.

You can also use the standard software utilities supplied with mobile phones, if all your actions are reduced to changing only the bitrate.

Install your audio software and open the file for editing. Adjust the maximum encoding quality by setting a high bit rate and adjusting the required number of parameters according to your audio system. Please note that you cannot improve the quality or make multichannel sound from a regular low bitrate music file. Apply settings to the audio file and encode. When converting to mp3 format, set the maximum value for the bitrate (320), since this format already damages your hearing enough, cutting off the frequencies. If it is possible to listen to files in uncompressed format, use encoding into one of them.

To edit sound at a bad bitrate, use programs with noise suppression, echo cancellation, and so on, but do not try to improve it by increasing its value - it is impossible to make sound with excellent quality from a recording with bad parameters in advance.
