Instructions

Step 1

First, download Microsoft's Movie Maker. This is a free utility. You can download the program from the official website

Step 2

Install Movie Maker and restart your computer. Run the installed utility, open the "File" menu and select the "Import" item. In the opened menu of Windows Explorer, select the video file in which you want to replace the music track.

Step 3

Open the Import item again and select the mp3 file that you will use when processing the video. Now drag the video file with the left mouse button to the visualization bar displayed at the bottom of the working window.

Step 4

Right-click on it and select "Show Storyboard". After performing this action, right-click on the visual display of the track and select "Cut".

Step 5

With the left mouse button, move the added mp3-composition to the "Audio track" field from which you recently cut a standard track. Now open the File menu again and select Save As. After opening a new menu, check the box next to the "Provide the best video quality" option and click the "Next" button.

Step 6

Enter a file name and select a format (if available). Specify the folder to save the video and click the "Finish" button. Wait for the program to finish running.

Step 7

If the selected music track is significantly longer than the video clip, trim the song. Otherwise, a black screen accompanied by music will appear at the end of the clip. You can also use Movie Maker or another available audio editor to trim the track.
