A receiver is a special device that allows you to receive a television signal and then transmit it to the TV screen. Use these devices when connecting, as well as setting up satellite dishes. Thanks to the loop-through input on the receiver, it is possible to connect another device.
Instructions
Step 1
To connect two receivers in series, you need to connect one of them directly to the satellite dish, the second to the first, to the loop-through input. The main role in this type of connection is played by the first receiver. From it, both power and control are carried out.
Step 2
In this case, the second receiver will only receive the signal. If you connect devices in series, set up the slave (the second, the one that only receives the signal) receiver so that the option called "Power" is disabled for it. If these steps are not taken, some difficulties may arise when watching the broadcasts broadcast by satellite.
Step 3
It is advisable to use the serial type of connection of receivers when the user wants to assign certain roles to each of the devices. Let's say you want the first receiver to accept only paid channels, and the second only free channels. In this case, a serial connection is what you need. It also allows you to easily check the functionality of your new receiver.
Step 4
If you have a satellite dish, you can separately purchase a special converter with several outputs. In the case of using it, the receivers will not depend on each other. There are models to eliminate the use of multiple devices. With regard to the ratio of price and quality, they are in many ways not inferior to independent devices installed separately.
