Step 1
First, we prepare the surface on which the parsing procedure will be performed. It should be well lit so that small details can be easily seen. If there is little light in the room, then install a table lamp. Underlay white paper or light-colored cloth. On a light surface, dark parts of the laptop will stand out clearly. This will help you avoid losing small parts. Before disassembling a laptop, make sure that the warranty has expired. Otherwise, it is not recommended to disassemble the laptop. This could void your warranty. It is also necessary to study the manual for your gadget. In it you can find the design features of your particular laptop.
Step 2
Turn off your laptop. Unplug the power adapter. Close the laptop lid until the locking mechanism clicks. Flip it right side down. Now open the battery latch. Slide the latch and remove the battery from the compartment. Your laptop is now completely de-energized. There is no need to be afraid of losing data and settings, since all modern laptops have a small internal battery that allows you to store settings in memory for a long time.
Step 3
Find all the screws that hold the back case cover. Unscrew them carefully. Try to remember the position of each screw. Now open the laptop lid. Gently pry the cover above the keyboard with a plastic screwdriver. It is held in place by plastic clips. Do everything very smoothly so that you don't accidentally break these latches. There is a power button on the panel, which is connected to the board by a ribbon cable. Disconnect the ribbon carefully. You can see two screws at the edges. They hold the monitor hinges. Unscrew them. In doing so, you need to support the laptop lid. After that, you must carefully disconnect all the connectors of the wires coming from the monitor. The laptop lid is detached.
Step 4
Now proceed to disassemble the case. It consists of two parts - upper and lower. They are connected in addition to screws with plastic latches. Find and expand them. Then detach the upper part of the case. The laptop is almost completely disassembled. All that remains is to get the part you need and fix it.
