Step 1
First, some general information. Nod32 is installed on your computer, it is in working order, but you have not updated the anti-virus database for a long time. In this case, the antivirus may not effectively protect the computer from malicious programs. There are two ways to update the anti-virus databases: through a username and password and through the offline option. The first option - through a username and password, is a little difficult. The fact is that in this case it will be necessary to constantly search for new databases and actual keys for updating. To do this, you will need to constantly go to the website of the developer company and spend time on this. The second option is that updating offline is much easier.

Go to the website of a company that specializes in the sale of this antivirus and provides all the necessary updates, for example, here https://nod-32.in.ua or here https://nod-32.ru and download the latest version of the anti-virus databases

On your PC, create a special folder from which the anti-virus will take databases for updating. To do this, you need to extract from the folder the files that are contained in the archive that you downloaded from the site.

Open a Nod32 window and launch advanced configuration mode.

Then in the "Settings" menu click on the "Enter the entire tree of advanced parameters" function and in the drop-down menu select the "Updates" submenu.

In the same place, in the "Updates" submenu, click on "Change" in order to add to the list of updates that very specially created folder from which the antivirus will be updated. To do this, in the required line, write the entire path of the folder location and click "Add".
