If you want to cut out any object from a photo, then you will need to use a special program. There are three most common image editors that will allow you to edit your photo.
Instructions
Step 1
Use the standard Windows program Microsoft Paint. This is an extremely easy-to-use program that allows you to edit images at a rather primitive level, but if you only need to crop an image from a photo, then it will suit you perfectly.
Step 2
Go to the Start button menu, then All Programs, select Accessories. Find Paint in the list that opens. Run the program. To edit a photo, click the "Open" button in the program on the toolbar, go to the directory where the photo you are interested in is located, click on it with the left mouse button and click the "Open" button. The photo has appeared in the work area.
Step 3
To crop an image from a photo, use the Selection tool. It is located on the left side of the panel, and is depicted as a rectangular dotted frame. Click on it once with the left mouse button. Then, to highlight an area of interest, mentally place it in a rectangle.
Step 4
Position the cursor at the top of this imaginary rectangle. Hold down the left mouse button and drag to the side so as to capture the entire desired area. Release the left mouse button. Click on the selected image with the right mouse button. In the context menu, select the "Cut" item.
Step 5
Use MS Photoeditor to crop your photo. This program is bundled with an office suite and is also a Microsoft product. Its principle of operation is the same as in Paint. Open the photo, select the desired object with a rectangular frame, right-click, and select "Cut".
Step 6
Use Adobe Photoshop if you need to cut a complex path image. This graphic editor has three selection tools: standard rectangular, point lasso, i.e. you can independently set the border of the selection pointwise, and the magnetic lasso (selection along the contour of colors). Use these tools to highlight the area of interest. Click on it with the right mouse button and click "Cut".
