Step 1
As for the manipulation of images, the situation here rests on the inability to work with graphic editors, for example, in Adobe Photoshop. Connecting pictures will require working with layers, which is one of the basics in mastering this program. In other words, after this little lesson Photoshop will no longer seem such a terrible monster to you.
Step 2
Open the program (the author uses the Russian version of CS5), click on "File"> "Open", in the browser window that appears, select the required image and click on "OK". Using the "Ctrl" key, you can select several files at once if they are in the same folder. After that, the program will ask you for a processing method, but in our case it does not really matter, so you can choose any of the proposed options.
Step 3
If you just need to combine two images as a whole, then in the toolbar select "Move" and drag one image onto the other. If you switch between files using tabs, drag the picture to the tab. Then, with the Move tool on, move the image to the desired location.
Step 4
If you need to enlarge or reduce a picture, go to Image> Image Size. In the window that opens, you can change the size of the picture in width and height, as units of measurement, you can specify the number of pixels or percentage.
