Nero is one of the easiest to use video slicer applications. The software is designed to burn CDs, DVDs, and is even used as a slideshow or movie editor. If you want to burn or “rip” a DVD-Video project, you can do that in a matter of minutes.
Instructions
Step 1
Open Nero and click on the DVD button at the top of the screen. Another option is CD or CD. Click on the Photos & Videos icon for your photos and film. Select the Create Your Own DVD-Video option. Wait for the program to start downloading. This will automatically create a new project.
Step 2
Add video to your project by copying and pasting it into the program or by clicking on the link in the "Add video files" menu. Use the dedicated bar at the bottom of the screen to see how much data your DVD has in total. The blue indicator will appear if there is enough space, but if the DVD is full, it will turn red.
Step 3
Click on the "Create Scene" button to set a custom movie division into scenes. If you want the program to do this automatically, click on the More icon, and then select the Create Scenes Automatically check box.
Step 4
Click on the "Next" button to proceed to create a menu for the movie. Fill in the required information in the title, such as the title of the movie or “My DVD”. Select the DVD background on the right side. The program already contains default backgrounds, which include categories such as Events and Nature, but you can also import any image of your choice.
Step 5
Click on "DVD Preview" in the main menu. Specify the ability to use the remote control for menu scrolling, video playback, and DVD navigation.
Step 6
Select Next to make the final selection of the entry. Place your DVD in the drive and click the Burn button. The program will first make all video files compatible for DVD and then burn them to disc automatically. The DVD will be ejected from the slot of the computer as soon as the process is complete.
