Necessary

  • - computer;
  • - installed Photoshop program.

Instructions

Step 1

It is quite easy to decorate your photos by overlaying beautiful text and applying various effects to it. Just select the text you want and choose the font style and color you need for it. At the same time, even using the same spelling, you can get a new kind of the used variant.

Step 2

All operations with text in Photoshop are performed from a special menu. To do this, select the icon with the letter "T" on the toolbar. Then place the cursor on the part of the image where the text should be. Enter the required text on the keyboard. Select it with the mouse and apply the necessary changes: select the font, size and color of the inscription most suitable for the photo.

Step 3

When working with a text layer, the selection of an inscription or part of it is carried out in the same way as in the Microsoft Word program - using a computer mouse. If you need to edit the text, select it and type the correct version on the keyboard. You can also use the "Cut", "Copy", "Paste" functions in the "Edit" menu. And if necessary, you can undo the last wrong action at any time. To do this, just press the Ctrl + Z keys on the keyboard or use the corresponding command in the editing menu.

Step 4

Since the text on the image is created in an additional layer, all operations carried out with it will affect the "state" of the inscription. To perform full editing, paint over text, blur, use gradient filling, apply filters, you need to convert the text layer to a standard layer using the Render Layer command. However, it should be borne in mind that after such a conversion, it will become impossible to edit the text (for example, change the letters and their arrangement). From the moment of transformation of the inscription, it will be considered by the program only as an object of the image.
