Step 1
Download and install it on your computer. If True Crypt is in the archive, unpack it. Run the program. When the "Create Encrypted Disks Wizard" appears, discard it. Close the program. This move will allow True Crypt to communicate with you in your own language.
Step 2
The program can be launched from the Start menu. Select "Menu" in the opened program. The "Volumes" folder should appear. Click Create New Volume. You will need to select the type of volume. First create a regular volume, and then make a hidden one in it. After selecting the volume, click "Next". Select the file where your encrypted drive will be stored. Select "Next" again.
Step 3
You can choose the encryption algorithm, but it's better to leave AES. Select the size of your disk. Pick a password, enter it and try again. Remember the created combination. Click the "Run" button. While the indicator advances to the end, click the mouse, press the keyboard keys. All is ready. To enter your disk, select "disk image". Next, "Mount". Enter your password. The disc will become available.
Step 4
There is a utility that quickly performs encryption. This is AxCrypt. It's very simple. Download AxCrypt to your computer. When you need to encrypt a drive, file or folder, right-click on the required file. A window will appear. Here you can select the required function. The only difficulty is that the interface is in English. There is no Russian version. For encryption, select "Encrypt", for decryption - Decrypt. To enter your password, press Enter passphrase, to confirm - Verify passphrase. Such a program does not take up much disk space and does not require additional installation.
