To work effectively on your computer, you need to properly configure the user interface. If you work with a blinking monitor screen, the effects on your vision can be catastrophic. To minimize the negative effect on the eyes, it is necessary to remove the ripples.
Instructions
Step 1
Change the refresh rate of the monitor screen. To do this, turn on your computer. Right-click on the "Desktop" field anywhere (but not on the icons and the "Taskbar and Start menu"). The "Properties: Display" window will appear on the screen. Select the "Advanced" tab and activate it by double-clicking on it with the mouse cursor. An additional window "Properties: Monitor Connector Module" will appear. At the top, select the "Monitor" tab and activate it with the mouse cursor.
Step 2
Next, in the "Monitor settings" section, check the "Hide modes that the monitor cannot use" item. This will prevent you from displaying a screen refresh rate not supported by your monitor. Please be aware that selecting a frequency not supported by your monitor may result in unstable images or hardware malfunction.
Step 3
Select "Monitor Refresh Rate" and see the available frequency range that your monitor supports. Select the highest value available. Click the "OK" or "Apply" button in the lower right corner of the window. After that, the system will take you to the "Properties: Display" window, and the selected parameters will be applied. Reboot your computer. Don't choose Safe Mode.
Step 4
In addition to changing the refresh rate of the monitor screen, also change the monitor resolution. Remember that having the right monitor resolution not only increases your productivity, it also helps reduce the negative impact on your vision. To set a higher resolution, your monitor connection module must support certain specifications. In the window "Properties: Display" in the lower left corner, find the inscription "Screen resolution" and set it to the highest possible. Click OK or Apply and restart your computer.
