Step 1
First, select the cable with which the TV will be connected to the computer system unit. For better picture quality, it is better to use digital channels such as HDMI and DVI. Connecting via the HDMI port also allows you to transfer audio signals. This saves you the trouble of purchasing an additional cable. Connect the TV to the computer's video card.
Step 2
Turn on both devices. Open the TV settings menu. At this stage, you just need to specify the port through which you made the connection as the main signal source. Take this action.

Wait for the operating system to load and configure the settings for the video card. If you are using a TV instead of a monitor, then just set the appropriate resolution. Open Control Panel and select "Adjust Screen Resolution" from the "Display" menu. Select the desired resolution and click the "Apply" button.

When using the TV and monitor in sync, make additional settings. Open the "Connect to an external display" item in the "Screen" menu. Select the hardware on which all applications will initially run. Activate the Make this screen home function. Better to choose a monitor as your primary display.
Step 5
Now turn on the Extend This Screen feature. Click on the graphic image of the TV and set the appropriate resolution. Computer setup at this stage is completed.
Step 6
Open the TV menu and make detailed picture adjustments. Adjust brightness and contrast. Expand or constrict the image if the capabilities of the TV allow it. Align the refresh rates of the TV screen and monitor. This will reduce the load on the graphics card.
