How to check the amount of paint in? Unfortunately, the Windows operating system does not have a universal way to check the ink level in a printer. It all depends on the model of your device. The first thing you can do is read your printer's passport and related documentation. There, as a rule, methods of checking the paint level are spelled out.

You can see the amount of paint yourself, without reading the documents. If your model provides this option, then you can find it in the "Properties". To view through the Start menu, enter the Control Panel. Then select the Printers tab either directly from Control Panel or from the Hardware and Sound tab. When the printers window opens, double-click the left mouse button on your printer icon.

In the list that opens, select the "Properties" option. A window with the parameters of your printer will open in front of you. Click on the Color Management tab. This tab should contain information about the paint level. If this information is not available, then the device program does not provide a preview of the ink level in the printer.

Then it remains to focus on the quality of the printed document. If the image is faint, or incompletely printed, or there is a white stripe in the middle of the sheet, you can be sure that the ink in the printer is running out. Therefore, you need to refill it, or buy a new cartridge. Many printer models come with discs that include software that allows you to see in real time how much ink is left in the printer. Therefore, install this utility from the disc and the corresponding drivers before printing.
