Google Chrome is a browser with many useful features. Bookmarks in this browser are created in several ways. The simplest of these is to click on the "Star" icon, which can be found in the address bar on the right side.

Step 1
If you used the asterisk icon, the address of the saved page will appear at the top of the browser window in the bookmarks bar.
Step 2
If you do not find the bookmarks bar, then you need to enable its display. Go to the browser settings function, find the options for bookmarks in this menu, click the line "Show bookmarks bar". Here you can simply click on the "Bookmark Manager" and go directly to the desired address.
Step 3
In the Google Chrome browser, you can create a bookmark without delving into the settings system. Just press Ctrl + D on your keyboard. Save the viewed site to your favorites using the mouse. Left-click and drag the URL from the address bar to the bookmarks bar. If you right-click on the tabbed bar, you will see a menu. Explore its functions - here you can add bookmarks by selecting the "Add Page" button.
Step 4
Saved sites can be sorted as you like. In the Name field, change the name of the resource. If you are not satisfied with the default location of bookmarks, choose a different one by creating thematic folders. Organize your saved bookmarks by site topic.
Step 5
Create several subfolders in the Bookmarks Bar folder. Drag the site address to the new one by clicking on the URL with the left mouse button, then drag it to the required subfolder. If the saved site turns out to be unnecessary, it is easy to delete it. Right-click on the site address, delete the selected URL using the button on the "Delete" toolbar.

Try to create your bookmarks in Google Chrome. You will not get confused in your favorite sites, and the most needed ones will always be at hand. Bookmarks can be saved on a PC, transferred to a USB flash drive, used both at work and at home.
Step 7
Pay attention to the small utility Bookmarks Backup. If you install this program on the system, it will automatically detect the browsers you are using. In the Bookmarks Backup window, check the browsers whose bookmarks you want to save. Specify the path to save and wait a few seconds. To use the saved bookmarks, just use the Restore item.
