Baidu is a program for improving the performance and cleaning the operating system, which is installed by a virus. That is why removing the Chinese program Baidu from your computer on your own is not the easiest operation.
Instructions
Step 1
To uninstall the Chinese Baidu software from your computer, go to Control Panel from the Start Menu. Select "Add or Remove Programs". Wait for the list to update and pay attention to the top lines. Among them there will be one or more programs, the name of which contains the word Baidu or hieroglyphs.
Step 2
Remove each Baidu package one by one from the list. The tricky part will be that all the action and button names in Baidu's removal service will be written in Chinese. However, there are buttons at the bottom of the window, one of which will be highlighted. This is the cancel key, when pressed, the deletion will be stopped. You need to click on the other unchecked button, as it denotes Next or Remove, and will eventually remove Baidu from your computer. Do the same for all programs with similar names.
Step 3
Sometimes the Baidu app does not appear in the list of installed programs in the Control Panel. In this case, go to the Program Files folder on your hard disk, right-click on a free area in it and select "Sort by modified date". Now take a look at the folders whose modified date matches the Baidu installation date. Each of them contains a file with a trash can or computer icon. This is a deletion service. Launch it and proceed as described above.
Step 4
There is another method to remove Baidu in Chinese from your computer. From the Start menu, go to the Utilities folder and select System Restore. Set the restore point to any date before the day Baidu appeared on your computer and perform the operation. After restarting, the computer will return to its original state and it will not have the Baidu program on it.
