Animals in Minecraft are sources of food, wool, and leather. Finding them can be quite expensive, so it's easier to create a farm near your home. This is very easy to do, especially after the leash appears in the game.

Step 1
The leash greatly simplifies the movement of animals, in early versions of the game, animals could be lured with wheat or carrots, but this was a rather long process. You had to take wheat (for cows or sheep) or carrots (for pigs) in your hand and slowly walk in the right direction. Often the animals lost contact and left in an arbitrary direction. The animal clings to the leash and, if you do not go too far from it, thus breaking the leash, calmly follows the player. Moreover, you can lead several animals if you have more than one leash. Plus, the leash allows animals to be tied to the fence. To hook an animal with a leash, hold it in your hand and right-click on the animal. To release the animal, right-click on it again. To attach a leash or leashes to the fence, click on the fence. The leash is created according to the scheme shown in the picture. Filaments are obtained from spiders and cobwebs, mucus from slugs that live in swamps.
Step 2
First of all, create a corral for livestock, a fence will help you with this, you can make it out of sticks. Do the same for the fence gate, replacing the two middle sticks with regular planks. If possible, light up your paddock, torches can be placed directly on the fence. You can make two or three corrals if you are going to breed animals of more than one species, this simplifies breeding.
Step 3
Take a leash (s) or wheat, seeds and carrots and go in search of animals. Sheep, cows, chickens, pigs and horses spawn (spawn) in areas where there is grass and a lot of light. Most often, they live on the plains or on the edges of the forest. When you find animals, grab a couple of each species, if you have enough leashes, and lead them home. Get them into a paddock or paddock. Now you can start breeding.
Step 4
Cows and sheep reproduce with the help of wheat, just click with the wheat in your hand on two animals of the same species, they will start emitting hearts, go to each other, and after a few seconds a baby will appear. After breeding, the animals will not be able to repeat the process for five minutes. Pigs reproduce with carrots in the same way, horses with golden apples or golden carrots, chickens reproduce with any seeds.
