Step 1
Connect the Wi-Fi router to an AC power supply by installing it in the desired location. Connect the computer's network card to its LAN port using a twisted pair cable. Connect the WAN connector with an internet cable. Open the settings of the router, having previously turned on this equipment.

Go to the WAN menu and configure the Internet connection. To do this, enter the required parameters that your provider recommends to use. Typically, routers are configured in the same way as computers that are directly connected to the network. Save the parameters and check the connection to the server by restarting the Wi-Fi router.

Open the Wireless Setup (Wi-Fi) menu and create a new access point. Specify those settings that are acceptable for the wireless adapters of your laptops. It is best to use mixed types of radio signals, ensuring the maximum range of devices is connected. Save your network settings.
Step 4
There are several options for disabling the wireless connection. Open the web interface of the Wi-Fi router settings. Go to the Wireless Setup menu. If you need to completely disable the operation of the access point, then click the Disable button. Some routers allow you to define connection parameters for each specific device.
Step 5
Open the Status menu and find the list of laptops connected to the router. Select the desired mobile computer and click the Disable (Block) button opposite its name. If you want to permanently disconnect a specific computer from the network, then open the Route Table menu. Find the Black List sub-item and add the MAC address of the wireless adapter of the required mobile computer to it. Remember that you can easily change the MAC address yourself, so choose the highest quality network security option.
