Opening the gaze to an unprecedented perspective, they allow us to feel the scale and boundaries of the world in which we live. Modern satellites have powerful photographic equipment and optical systems. Many satellites of private companies are constantly photographing the planet. Today there are a large number of images of various scales and resolutions of almost all settlements on earth. And anyone can see such images and literally look at the city from a satellite using interactive Google Maps.

Instructions
Step 1
Connect to the Google Maps service. Open the address in the browser https://maps.google.com. You will see a familiar search bar with a map below it
Step 2
Find an object, territory or settlement, a satellite image of which you want to see. Enter the name of the settlement or significant object in the search box. Press the Enter button, or the Search Maps button located next to the search box. The page will refresh. After refreshing on the map, the search result will be displayed at the bottom of the page. As a rule, this is the desired object, marked with a red icon.
Step 3
Switch to the satellite imagery display. Click on the icon labeled Earth. The map image will change. Now it displays satellite photos.
Step 4
Zoom in and find the objects you want. Click on the "+" image on the display scale slider on the right. The image will be zoomed in. Move the map by dragging the mouse to find the desired object. For more productive work with the map, use the context menu available when you right-click on it.
