In any game, the development of the hero is one of the most important actions that requires a number of specific knowledge from the player. In this regard, the turn-based strategy Heroes of Might and Magic provides an interesting scenario for the development of heroes. There are 18 types of heroes, two for each city. In accordance with their purpose, heroes-magicians or heroes-warriors differ. Moreover, in each city there is one and the other group of heroes. The development of the hero must be carried out taking into account his innate inclinations.

Instructions
Step 1
The development of any hero occurs when he gains new experience. Experience can be obtained from a treasure chest or by winning a battle. The harder the battle was, the more experience the winner will receive in the end. When gaining experience, the hero is offered to learn two secondary skills of his choice, until he has acquired only 8 skills. Each skill allows the hero to develop certain skills. Therefore, they should be carefully selected in accordance with the makings of the hero.
Step 2
A castle-type city includes knights and hero-priests (clerics). The former are born warriors, while the latter have increased magical inclinations. In the Castle, all heroes must have the Leadership, Good Luck, Shooting, First Aid Tents and Logistics skills. For knights also be sure to choose the skills "Offense" and "Defense". For clerics, develop magical abilities. The very first to choose them when gaining new experience the skill "Wisdom", as well as at least the magic of two elements: earth and air.
Step 3
In the cities of Tower, Conjunction and Stronghold, there is the same division, where mages coexist with warrior heroes. These cities do not differ much in spirit from the Castle. Therefore, develop their heroes in a similar scenario. It is advisable for magicians to set all four skills of the elements, as well as to have learned skills: "Mysticism", "Resistance", "Magic". The knowledge of the skills "Eagle Eye" and "Diplomacy" will come in handy here.
Step 4
Heroes of cities such as Fortress and Citadel focus on the power of direct attack of monsters and personal protection of the army of heroes. Here magic is in its infancy with the most primitive spells. Therefore, the heroes from these cities should choose the skills: "Attack", "Defense", "Shooting", "Tactics", "Ballistics", "Artillery", "Finding the Path", "First Aid Tents" and "Navigation". Especially important is the tactical skill, which allows you to advantageously deploy troops before the start of the battle. This evens the hero's chances when fighting a magically evolved enemy. Also, these cities usually have a weak economic base, so it is advisable to have the "Economics" skill.
Step 5
Heroes from the cities of Inferno and Dungeon also develop magical abilities. The magic of these heroes should be matched by good attack power. Therefore, here do not skew too much in any one direction. Skills "Shooting", "Leadership" may be superfluous, but the skills "Reconnaissance" will help to actively explore the map.
Step 6
The city of Necropolis, like its heroes, stands out significantly from other cities. After all, this is the city of the dead. This is where undead monsters and heroes come from. However, there is the same division into black knight warriors and necromancer magicians. All of them need the Sorcery skill. In addition, necromancers must necessarily learn the magical skills "Wisdom", "Earth Magic" and "Sorcery". Black knights need "Tactics" and all defensive-attacking skills, including the skill "Ballistics". Having developed a dark hero in this way, you will strengthen his innate qualities and make him one of the strongest heroes in the game world.
