The most common question among personal computer users is how to install an operating system. Many people trust this process only to professionals, without even thinking that it is so simple that even a schoolchild can handle it.

Step 1
Before proceeding with the installation of the operating system, save all the data you need to work in the future to removable media or move the files to an additional hard drive on which you do not plan to install Windows, if, of course, there is one in the hardware configuration of your PC.
Step 2
Reboot your computer. At boot, as soon as the monitor turns on - immediately press the Esc key. Select the drive priority from the device boot list, save changes, insert the operating system disc into the drive, and restart the system.
Step 3
When the message “Boot from CD, Press any key …” appears on the monitor screen, press any key to continue the system installation. The Windows installer will appear before your eyes, following the instructions of which you will need to act.
Step 4
Read the content of the license agreement, if you are satisfied with all the points, confirm your consent and continue with the installation. Select the disk or its partition to install Windows.
Step 5
Choose to install a new copy of the operating system into the partition of your choice. Format the disk or its sector in the NTFS system, if its size allows it (this type of file system is designed for volumes of 32 GB and more). Wait for the check and disk cleanup to finish.
Step 6
After the computer restarts, you will see the system installation window, wait while the system itself performs the data copying and installation operation. Periodically, windows will open that require attention: enter the name of the organization, if necessary, enter the administrator password. Select your time zone. Windows Setup is intuitive and easy to navigate.
Step 7
At the very end of the system installation on your computer, enter your username and password.
