Execution of the service start operation on the server is a standard procedure in the Microsoft Windows operating system and can be carried out by standard means of the system itself. No additional software is required.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system and go to the "Run" item to initiate the operation to enable the selected service on the server.
Step 2
Enter cmd in the Open field and click OK to confirm the execution of the command to run the Command Prompt tool.
Step 3
Call the context menu of the found element by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Run as administrator" command to comply with the security requirements of Microsoft Corporation.
Step 4
Enter net start in the command prompt text box and press the Enter function key to confirm the prompt for the currently running services and use the net start Client for NetWare command to start the service of the same name. Confirm the launch by pressing the Enter key.
Step 5
Use the net start alerter value to start the Alerter service, or enter net start browser in the command line text box to start the Computer Browser service, which displays a list of computers on the local network. Confirm the execution of the command by pressing the Enter key.
Step 6
Set the value to net start "Exchange Folder Server" lkz to exchange text or graphics files on the network, or select the value net start dhcp cient to support network configuration. Press the softkey labeled Enter.
Step 7
Enter net start eventlog in the command line text box to start the Event Log service, or use net start file replication to start the file replication service. Confirm the start of the selected service by pressing the Enter key.
Step 8
Specify net start messenger to be able to send messages, or select net start netlogon to start the Net Logon service. Confirm the execution of the run command by pressing the softkey labeled Enter.
