It is no secret that equipment made in other countries will not be so easy to set up and use. If a webcam from a Chinese manufacturer (without Russification) fell into your hands, you can still connect it to your computer. However, it will be a little harder to find drivers.
Instructions
Step 1
Plug your webcam into a known working USB port. Wait while the operating system detects the connected device. Launch the Device Manager utility through the properties of My Computer or Control Panel. Find the item for imaging devices (usually at the very bottom of the list). If the device is not automatically detected, then open it yourself through "My Computer".
Step 2
If no drivers were found, the webcam will be listed as an unknown device. If there are no question marks or exclamation marks in the list of equipment, and the webcam is identified as an "Imaging Device", then you have succeeded and the camera is fully installed.
Step 3
If there is no disk included with the webcam, you need to look for drivers manually. Open the webcam properties window by right-clicking on the item and selecting the desired item. Go to the Details tab and look at the device instance code. Enter part of the code into your browser's search engine. Use only characters between slashes, the rest of the code is unnecessary. Find and download the correct webcam driver to your computer. Install the driver by running setup.
Step 4
If the webcam still doesn't work, try downloading a different driver version. Check the USB port and the camera itself on another computer. You can use Webcam Diagnostics to determine if your webcam is malfunctioning. It is also worth noting that there are special sites that provide drivers for Chinese equipment. As a rule, many users have faced similar problems, so finding a solution is not difficult.
