You can refill the cartridge of almost any inkjet printer model yourself. Epson cartridges for printers are no exception. The complexity of refueling depends on the specific model of the printing device. Despite this, it is still better to refill the cartridge rather than buying a new one every time you run out of ink. This is especially true when the cartridge is filled with colored ink, since it costs much more than black.

Necessary

  • - Epson printer;
  • - cartridge;
  • - ink;
  • - syringe.

Instructions

Step 1

Before proceeding, you need to purchase ink. The paint must be taken specifically for your model of cartridges. If you are going to refill with colored ink, then depending on the model, you will need to take several different colors.

Step 2

First, prepare a place to replace the cartridge refill. Cover the surface with oilcloth or some newspaper. Even if you refill the cartridge very carefully, you might still spill some ink. Also, if you do not want to get your hands dirty, you can use, for example, medical gloves, since the ink is very difficult to wash off.

Step 3

Turn on the printer and open the cover. Wait until the printhead carriage is in a static position. Remove the cartridge from the print head. Depending on the model, the clips that hold the cartridge may vary.

Step 4

Typically, the holes through which you can refill the cartridge are located under the top label. It needs to be removed. Each hole is designed for a specific color. Now draw the paint into a syringe with a needle. Then push the paint syringe all the way into the hole. Pour the ink slowly into the cartridge. Refill all cartridges this way. At the end of the procedure, you will need to glue the holes back.

Step 5

To do this, you can use the sticker you removed earlier. But also the sticker can be replaced with regular tape. Shake the color cartridge several times before installing it in the printer. Install the cartridges back into the printhead.
