Step 1
Download Word Password Recovery Wizard from the Internet. Please note that the program is shareware. Therefore, with long-term use, you will have to purchase a license or look for a free analogue. Also pay attention to what documents, what versions of MS Office the program can work with. Install the application to your hard drive. It should be noted that the choice of such programs is quite wide. Moreover, the principle of their work is practically the same.
Step 2
Run the program. The main dialog box will appear. In order to start removing passwords, you must specify the file of interest. To do this, click on the "Open" icon located on the main toolbar or select the appropriate item from the main menu. After that, tabs will appear in the workspace. The process of guessing the password for this document will be automatically launched due to the already having a default profile. If the password is defined, it will appear in the corresponding tab "Status / Document Protection", if not, then go to step 3.
Step 3
Configure or select the desired search and password removal profile. To do this, use the "Tools / Profile manager …" main menu or the "Profile managers" icon located on the main toolbar. In the "Attack profile manager" dialog box that appears, you can configure the basic parameters for selecting a password. You can apply the default profile, you can use the profile designer, you can manually select the appropriate selection options.
Step 4
Select the "Attack / Resume" menu item or press the Ctrl + Alt + R key combination. The password guessing process will start. This may take some time. After completing the selection, the document protection password will appear in the "Status / Document Protection" tab. That's all. Open the document, go to "Service / remove protection …", enter the received password and remove protection from the document.
