Step 1
Purchase a disc with a licensed version of the Windows operating system. Recently, Microsoft has been producing all the new operating systems for laptops and personal computers, but when choosing an operating system, you should rely on the specifications of your laptop. If your computer has more than two cores and at least 2 GB of RAM, then you can use versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7. For computers with lower specifications, it is desirable to use Windows XP SP3.

Insert the disc into your laptop drive and restart it. Press the “Delete” key to open the BIOS menu. Open the boot priority selection tab. Set the reading of information from CD / DVD-ROM to the first place, and the hard disk (Hard disc or HDD) loading to the second. Save the changes and press the “Y” key to reboot the system.
Step 4
After rebooting, the menu for selecting a virtual hard disk partition will open. Specify the installation location of the operating system drive "C". You can also create additional hard disk partitions or delete them. Press the “F” key to format the partition. After the format operation, a reboot will be performed.

When installing the operating system on your laptop, specify the account name and password for it (optional).

After completing the installation of the operating system, be sure to download the "fresh" drivers for the video card, motherboard and sound card from the Toshiba website. Install them and restart your laptop for all changes and updates to take effect.
