A problem that many laptop owners face is the built-in touchpad, which prevents them from typing if accidentally touched. Disabling such a built-in mouse is a very simple matter, so difficulties with the touchpad when working in text should no longer arise.

Step 1
There are several different ways to solve this problem. If one fails, move on to the next. First, try pressing Fn + F9.
Step 2
Follow the path Start - Control Panel - Mouse. Go to the "Hardware" tab and select "touchpad" there. Then click the Disable button.
Step 3
Go to the site where you can download drivers for your laptop model. There, enter the model, the operating system that you have installed and select the device for which you want to find the driver - the touchpad. Download and install the driver on your laptop. After restarting the laptop, the drivers will take effect and there will be additional options for your touchpad, including disabling it.
Step 4
Go to Bios. Press the F2 or Del key while the computer restarts. Blue screen - Bios screen. In the “User's Guide” that came with your laptop in paper form, find a way to disable the touchpad. Follow the steps described.
Step 5
If all else fails, open the laptop and remove the touchpad cable from the motherboard.
