The Mozilla Firefox browser options provide the ability to back up bookmarks, but sometimes this is not enough. In some cases, for example, after reinstalling the system, not only the addresses of the necessary sites are lost, but also cookies, certificates, passwords, history, user styles. In order to restore Mozilla Firefox, you can use a special program - MozBackup.

Instructions
Step 1
Install MozBackup on your computer. To do this, visit the official website of the program and select the version of MozBackup that you want to use on the page that opens. Click the Download link button in the corresponding line and select the directory for saving the file, wait until the download is complete.
Step 2
Create a backup copy of the profile, which will be restored in the future. To do this, unpack the downloaded archive and run the MozBackup.exe file. A new dialog box will open. Review the information on the first page and click Next. Select the Backup a profile action and the Mozilla Firefox version. In doing so, make sure that the browser window is currently closed.
Step 3
Click Next and specify the path to save the backup file. If necessary, set a password for it. On the next page, mark the fields you need with a marker: history, bookmarks, certificates, saved passwords, and so on. Click Next and wait until the program completes the copy operation, then click Finish.
Step 4
To restore Mozilla Firefox, restart the MozBackup application. On the page for selecting actions, set the marker in the Restore a profile field, click the Next button and, using the Browse button, specify the path to the backup file. Select the components you want to repair by marking them with a marker and go to the next page. The Mozilla Firefox repair operation will begin. Wait for it to finish and click the Finish button.
