Step 1
First, try starting your operating system in Safe Mode. This is required to access the internet. Restart your computer and hold down the F8 key. In the menu that appears, highlight the "Windows Safe Mode" item and press the Enter key. Wait for the system to start in safe mode.
Step 2
Now go to the Dr. Web anti-virus page https://www.freedrweb.com/cureit/. Download from there the application created to remove banner ads. Now restart your computer and start the system as usual
Step 3
Run the Dr. Web CureIt. It will automatically start the process of scanning system files. Wait for this process to complete.
Step 4
If this program did not cope with the task, try to guess the password, which will disable the ad module. To do this, visit the following resources:
Enter the text of the banner or the phone number indicated in it in certain fields. Click the Get Code or Find Code button.
Step 5
Write down all combinations and restart your computer normally. Substitute the received passwords in the field of the advertising window. This is a long process, but sometimes it is the most effective one.
Step 6
If you still cannot disable the banner, start Windows again in safe mode. Now open the folder list of the system partition of the hard drive. Change to the Windows directory. Find the system32 folder and open it.
Step 7
Turn on file sorting "By type". Select all.dll files whose name ends with lib. Delete all these files. In this case, you can even use the "Add to Trash" deletion method. Restart your computer normally.
