Sometimes situations may arise when access to the information that the user uses when working in the system needs to be restricted. In this case, you need to create an account with a password.

Step 1
It is for such situations that Microsoft, when creating its operating systems of the Windows family, introduced the ability to create a user profile with a password to enter the system. Thus, you can log into Windows and start a full-fledged work in this environment only after entering the user's password. In fact, creating a new password protected account is a very simple task. To get started, go to the Windows "Control Panel". To do this, click on "Start" and select the "Control Panel" menu item.
Step 2
In the control panel, you need to find the item "User accounts", click on it.
Hint: Here you can also create a password for an existing user account. To do this, simply select the appropriate item.
Note: if the user on whose behalf the system was logged in does not have administrator rights, then a new account cannot be created.
Step 3
At this stage, the system will offer to select a task. You must select "Create a new account". Next, you will be prompted to enter the name and type of the new account. After selecting the desired values will be selected, you must click on the "Create a new account" button.
Step 4
The account has been created. Now you need to set a password for it. Select the newly created account, and in the window that appears, select the "Create password" item. Then we enter the password, its mandatory confirmation, and a word or phrase that serves as a password hint (optional).
Note: Please note that the hint can be seen by all users of your computer.
Step 5
After entering the correct password and confirming it, click "Create Password". A new account with a password has been created.
