Step 1
It should be noted right away that only Ultimate and Enterprise editions are available for localizations. There are two ways of Russification: through the Windows Update applet and manually by downloading a special package from the official website.

In the first case, the applet is launched through the "Start" menu - in the "All Programs" section, select the "Windows Update" line. All that is required of you is to specify the required localization package and confirm the correctness of the actions performed. All files will be automatically downloaded from the server and also installed on your computer.

If for some reason this operation cannot be performed, for example, a limited or no Internet connection, it is recommended to download the Russification files from your friend or from an Internet cafe. Copy them to removable media and connect this device to your computer.

Links to download the language pack are below. Install the language pack by running the executable file from removable media. Open the Start menu and start typing Change display language in the search bar. Select this item, you will see a window titled Region and Language. Go to the Choose a display language block and select the "Russian" line from the drop-down list.
Step 5
Click OK to close the window and restart your computer from the Start menu. When you boot your computer, you may find that not all elements have been Russified, for example, the welcome window. To do this, open the Regional and Language applet through the Control Panel and go to the Advanced tab.

Here you need to click the "Copy settings" button and in a new window put a checkmark on the items "Welcome screen and system accounts" and "New user accounts". Click OK, close all open applications to restart your computer again.
