Anyone who takes the first steps in learning Photoshop often faces a problem. There is a folder with images and there is a program, but it is not clear how to connect one and the other. How to insert a picture into the program? There are several ways, but we will look at the simplest one.

computer, Adobe Photoshop, image file
Instructions
Step 1
Find the shortcut to Photoshop on your desktop. Open the folder where the image you need is located.
Step 2
Set the mode to tile or icons in the preview pane. Small copies of the pictures themselves will open in the folder.
Step 3
Move the cursor over the desired image and left-click. Drag a copy of the picture onto the program shortcut while holding down the mouse button. The command "Open with Adobe Photoshop" drops out
Step 4
Release the mouse button, the Photoshop program opens and your picture is already on the main working area.
