Don't reply to spam to get rid of unwanted promotional emails. Do not follow the links it contains. This will only allow spammers to make sure that your address is real and actively used, and as a result, the amount of spam will increase.

Create a special mailbox to register on sites that are not credible. Don't use it for any other purpose. You can also register disposable addresses to avoid receiving spam. If you use an email client, configure it in such a way that a request to download a picture is always displayed, since the fact of its downloading can also confirm the fact that the address is active. Come up with a long and awkward name for your mailbox, because spammers often generate mail names. It is desirable that the name of the mailbox is more than six characters, if it does not contain numbers - more than seven. Do not use words of any languages, Slavic words or names written in Latin. They can be easily picked up. Change your email address periodically to protect yourself from spam, if possible.
