Quite often there is a need to save important data for us. Be it photos, music or videos, pictures or documents. Keeping all files exclusively on your computer's hard drive all the time is not the smartest way out. After all, there is always the possibility that a computer can get some kind of virus, and the necessary files can simply be destroyed. In this case, an optimal solution is found - to duplicate the files to external media, or in other words, simply burn them to a CD.
Instructions
Step 1
For quite a long time, the Nero program has occupied a strong position in the computer software market. It has been recognized by both professionals and ordinary computer users. The intuitive interface and beautiful design make it a pleasure to work with this program.
Step 2
But back to the topic. First you need to decide which disc we want to burn. It will be a CD or DVD. It already depends on what kind of drive is on your computer. Let's take a DVD as an example.
Step 3
After we have placed the external media into the computer's disk drive, we launch the program. In most cases, an autorun window pops up asking what we want to do with this disk. We find the "burn a disc with Nero" tab. By activating it, the program starts automatically.
At the top of the program window, you need to find a tab where the user chooses what type of disc will be recorded on. As agreed, we select the DVD sub-item. Below we are asked to choose what exactly we want to record. Whether it's music, videos, documents, or all at once - there is a designation for each purpose.
Step 4
Having decided on the choice of an item from the above menu, proceeds to another item. The question arises - do we want to make a disc with a multisession or do without it. It costs nothing to be afraid. The multisession serves only to record some additional information on the remaining disk space after the first "burn". If you have serious thoughts about whether or not to stage a multisession, then put it on. Nothing bad will come of it.
Step 5
Let's move on. After choosing a multisession, it is necessary to designate the files that we want to save on disk. To do this, you can find them through the explorer, kindly provided by the developers, or, as usual, "drag and drop" these files with the mouse cursor.
Step 6
Then we look for the "recording" tab. Go to this part of the program window. Make sure that all the settings are correct, and press the "burn" button. At the end of the recording procedure, the drive will open itself and take the disc out. Recording completed successfully.
