To perform various operations for processing ready-made or creating new images in a computer, specialized programs are used - graphic editors. Adobe Photoshop is one such program, and the brush is one of the main tools of this application. It is he who is most often used in work by professional designers and amateurs, therefore, a huge number of additional sets have already been created, with which you can replenish the basic list of brushes.

Step 1
To open the currently active brush set, use the icon in the toolbar. It features a stylized paintbrush and a Brush Tool tip pops up on hover. Clicking on this icon can be replaced by pressing the B (Russian "I") key. After activating the tool, the controls related to it appear in the "Parameters" panel - click on the second icon from the left to open a table of all the brushes available in the current set of brushes.
Step 2
The same table can be opened in a separate panel - press the F5 key or select the "Brush" item in the "Window" section of the graphical editor menu. A window will open on the "Brush" tab, which allows you to fine-tune the parameters of the brush of the selected shape. The shape can be changed in the table located here, or on the separate "Brush Sets" tab.
Step 3
If you downloaded from the Internet or received a file with a set of brushes in another way, it is very easy to open it in a graphics editor - left-click this object twice. If Photoshop is running, you will not notice any effects, but the collection of brushes from the file will be added to the current list of brushes, and you can use it.
Step 4
You can add a set from a file and using the dialogs of the graphical editor itself. To do this, on the above-mentioned "Brush Sets" tab, click the icon at the upper right edge and in the context menu that opens, select the "Load brushes" line. In the opening dialog, find the required abr-file, select it and click the "Load" button.
Step 5
The context menu of the Brush Presets tab contains a list of brush collections that you can load or unload as needed. You can also add a set from your file with the abr extension to this list. To do this, place it in the same folder where Photoshop stores its brushes. Copy it to the Brushes directory, which is placed in the Presets folder of the root directory of the graphic editor.
