Probably, each of you from time to time burns games, movies, music and any other data to CDs and DVDs. Usually, such discs are signed and placed in cases, boxes or paper envelopes, but sometimes you want to make a real full-fledged cover for a movie or game, like on a disc bought in a store. This is possible if you have Adobe Photoshop and a color printer.

Instructions

Step 1

Download and install Photoshop, launch it, and then select "Open" from the "File" menu. The explorer will open. In it, you need to find the image that you want to print as a future cover.

Step 2

If the image is in the wrong orientation, open the Image menu and select the Rotate canvas option. Rotate the image 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise (CW / CCW).

Step 3

After changing the image orientation to vertical so that the printed A4 cover can be folded in half and inserted into the box, adjust the colors, saturation, and brightness of the image, then click the File menu and select the View & Print option.

Step 4

Set the correct size for the printed sheet so that your cover matches the size of the disc box in which you intend to store it. For example, if you are printing a DVD cover, set the print height to 27.2 cm and the width to 18.5 cm.

Step 5

Click Print and print the cover sheet. Use scissors to carefully trim the edges, trim off any excess, then fold the cover in half and insert it into the box.

Step 6

Likewise, you can print not only double but also single covers. By setting other print image sizes, you can print both a DVD cover and a cover that fits a standard Smart CD box.
