The DVD disc has a volume of 4.7 gigabytes, which makes it a very convenient medium for storing various information, in particular, films. Modern codecs allow you to compress movies up to 700 megabytes, so one DVD can fit up to 6 movies in acceptable quality.
Instructions
Step 1
Download a CD burning program called CD Burner XP, which is distributed free of charge. Its distribution kit is located at https://cdburnerxp.se/downloadsetup.exe. After that, install it on your computer and run it. When you start CD Burner XP, a window opens that allows you to select various functions of the program, such as creating an iso image, burning a music disc or data disc. Select the last option, then insert the CD into your drive and choose to burn to DVD. As a result of these actions, a window for adding files will open, vaguely resembling Windows Explorer
Step 2
In the right part of the file adding window, open the folder where the movie you need to burn to DVD is located. Video files to be burned on a disc must be in a format supported by the device on which you plan to play them (for example, the.mkv format is not played by most consumer video players). Drag or copy videos to the box on the left. You can monitor the amount of free space remaining on the disk using the indicator bar located at the bottom of the window. Make sure all the movies you need are prepared for burning, then proceed to the next step of burning your movie to DVD.
Step 3
To start the physical recording of video files to disk, press the "Burn" button (icon in the form of a burning match). Try not to run any programs while burning, as if it is abruptly canceled, the DVD may be damaged if it was not rewritable. After completing the burning, insert the disc into the drive and check the quality of the movie recording (the data should be read without problems).
