A hard drive divided into several partitions is not always convenient to use, and many have to combine logical drives, creating one from two. This task will not be difficult to accomplish.
Instructions
Step 1
It should be noted right away that it will not be possible to combine two logical disks with the standard means of the Windows operating system, so you will have to use third-party software. You can use a free demo version of Acronis Disc Director, which can be downloaded on the official website or on any software portal of the Russian Internet.
Step 2
After downloading and installing on your computer, launch the program. You will see the partitions of your hard drive. Click on one of them in the menu on the left and select the "merge volume" command.
Step 3
In the new dialog box, check the second section and click OK.
Step 4
You will see the "Apply Pending Operations" button change color on the top bar. Click on it to apply your changes.
Step 5
The program will need to restart the computer to merge the selected logical drives. During the reboot, the disc merging procedure will be performed, which can take a long time if the discs are large and contain a lot of files.
