DVD RIP is a movie format that is very often found on the Internet on various file exchangers and torrent trackers. It is a compressed DVD with a small loss of quality (depending on the degree of processing), but with a much smaller volume. Films of this format are very common on the Internet, mainly due to their size. Uploading them to the Internet and, accordingly, downloading them is much faster compared to the original DVD movie. You can create a DVD RIP yourself.
Necessary
- - Computer;
- - FairUse Wizard 2.
Instructions
Step 1
To work, you need FairUse Wizard 2. You can find and download it on the Internet. Install the program and run. After its launch, in the first window, check the "Create project" item and enter the name of the future project. The name of the project should be written only in Latin characters or use numbers. Then click the browse button and select a folder to work in the project. The data will be saved there. Proceed further. A window will appear. In this window, select either your drive, if the DVD disc is located there, or the folder where the DVD image is saved.
Step 2
In the window that appears, select the required caching chain. You can find out more about this with the help of the program. After choosing a caching chain, go ahead and wait for the process to complete. In the next window that appears, look for the "Auto" button, which is on the right, and click on it. This will remove the black stripes. If you wish, you can remove subtitles in this window. Then go on.
Step 3
In the current window, click the "Define" button. It is located in the lower left corner of the window. After that, you move on again. In the next window, you have to select the codec, resolution, video file size. Also in the upper right corner is the "Encoding rate" bar. By moving the slider, you can choose either a higher conversion speed or quality. It is recommended to move the slider to “Quality” to the maximum value, although the conversion process in this case will take much longer.
Step 4
If you plan to watch this video on TV, then next to the "Resolution" parameter, check the box "Use TV mode". After choosing the required parameters, proceed further. The video conversion process will begin, the duration of which largely depends on the speed of your PC.
