Instructions

Step 1

Replace the chip that stores the toner amount information. To do this, place the empty cartridge on the table so that the lever that secures it to the printer is on your left.

Step 2

Peel off the color-coded sticker for the toner in the cartridge. It is located directly above the barcode sticker. Under it you will find a small cover, picking it up with a thin slotted screwdriver, you will see the chip itself. After removing the old chip, replace the new one.

Step 3

Place the toner inside the cartridge. To do this, remove the cover that covers the toner fill slot. It is located on the opposite side from the locking lever. Be careful when removing the cap - it could fall into the cartridge. Take a cone-shaped funnel and insert it into the hole. Shake the toner can thoroughly before filling.

Step 4

There is another refueling option. Using a thin slotted screwdriver, use a slotted screwdriver to release the four retaining clips around the side of the toner cartridge that contains the toner cover.

Step 5

If you have a special vacuum cleaner with a filter for very small particles, vacuum the side panel, the seal inside it, and, if possible, the inside of the cartridge. This will prevent the possibility of mixing different types of toners. When using this filling method, it is not necessary to use a funnel; the toner from the can can be poured directly into the cartridge. Also, do not forget to shake the toner can - this operation is required when using any refilling method.

Step 6

Correct the seal before closing the side panel to avoid spilling toner during machine operation.
