The process of changing a user, changing the settings of a user account or organization is performed by standard means of the Windows operating system. It does not require special computer knowledge and the involvement of specialized third-party programs.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the "End Session" button to log out of the account you are using.
Step 2
Log in using a different account to change user.
Step 3
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Control Panel" item to change the settings of the selected account.
Step 4
Expand the "User Accounts" link and go to "Change Account".
Step 5
Specify the entry to be changed in the User Accounts dialog box that opens, and expand the Name Change link in the next dialog box.
Step 6
Enter the desired name in the appropriate field and click the "Change name" button.
Step 7
Expand the "Create password" link and enter the desired password in the corresponding field.
Step 8
Re-enter the selected password to confirm it and click the "Change password" button.
Step 9
Expand the link "Change the image" and select the desired picture from the proposed ones.
Step 10
Specify the path to another picture on your computer and click the "Change Image" button.
Step 11
Expand the "Change account type" link and select the desired type.
Step 12
Click the Change Account Type button to confirm the selected changes.
Step 13
Return to the main Start menu and go to Run to launch the Registry Editor tool.
Step 14
Enter regedit in the Open field and click OK to confirm the command.
Step 15
Find the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / Microsoft / Windows NT / CurrentVersion to change registered organization information.
Step 16
Double click on the RegisteredOrganization field in the right pane of the application window and enter the desired name in the Data Value section.
Step 17
Click OK to apply the selected changes.
Step 18
Double click on the RegisteredOwner field in the right area of the program window to change the name of the registered user.
Step 19
Enter the desired name in the Data Value group and click OK to execute the command.
Step 20
Click the Exit button on the File menu to close the Registry Editor application.
