Step 1
Check with your satellite TV service provider. Let us know which channels you want to block temporarily. Of course, in this case, you will have to wait until the specialists perform the necessary operations, but this way you can reliably cover access to the channel and at the same time not overpay extra money.
Step 2
Try to block the channel yourself. Press the "Menu" button on the remote control. In the main menu, select "Settings", then click "OK" and enter the PIN code "0000" by pressing the button with a zero on it four times.
Step 3
Navigate to Organize Channels and click OK. Select "Satellite", press the "OK" button 2 times. Select the channel that you need to block and click the yellow key on the receiver's remote control. A padlock icon will appear next to the channel name. Press the EXIT key 5 times in a row to exit the menu. Now, when switching to this channel, the receiver will ask for a PIN code, and without entering it, viewing will be impossible. You can change the code as you see fit. It is advisable to set a number consisting of different digits, but you must compose it so that you do not forget later. Choose in advance from your service provider packages that contain channels suitable for the whole family. Even if the channels are blocked, there is a high probability that children or, even more so, adults will bypass the protection by reading the corresponding instructions on the Internet. Therefore, it is better to take care of the safety of your family and digital device right away.
