There can be many reasons for uninstalling programs. Incorrect operation, incompatibility with the system, virus infection, outdated version or simple cleaning of the system from excess applications. Correct and competent removal procedure is a guarantee of stable and efficient computer operation.
The main ways to uninstall programs
There are five main ways to remove all programs from your device. Formatting local drives, rolling back the system, erasing with special applications for uninstalling programs, uninstalling through my computer, reinstalling the operating system.
Practical application of removal methods
To use the first method, you need to open "My Computer", right-click on the local disk, select "Format", press Enter.
If you have several local disks, you need to apply this action to each of them.
The second method is irreplaceable when system errors appear. To use it, in the lower left corner you need to open "Start", in the menu that opens, select "All programs" from the standard programs, select utility programs, click "System Restore", in the window that appears, click "Next" and follow the instructions, set the recovery date, start recovery procedure.
Please note that programs installed earlier than the recovery date will remain on the computer.
The third method is the most modern. To do this, install the application to remove programs, after installation, if necessary, restart the computer, start the software, in the window that appears, check the boxes next to those programs that need to be removed, click "Uninstall". The procedure will take place sequentially, the programs will be deleted one by one. Applications designed to uninstall programs include: Revo Uninstaller, TuneUp Utilities, Uninstall Tool, CCleaner.
This method can also be implemented through the Add or Remove Programs application located in Control Panel.
The following removal method can be roughly referred to as manual formatting. To do this, go to My Computer, open the local drive, select all folders, press the shift + delete key combination. If the computer has more than one local disk, then this procedure must be applied to each.
The last method is the most radical and should only be used if it is necessary to update the operating system or install a different version. To reinstall the OS, insert a disk or USB flash drive with the required system into the computer, reboot, then follow the instructions to complete the installation procedure. But before choosing the local drive where the operating system will be installed, format each one and continue with the installation process. When finished, there will be no programs left on the computer.
