Many programs launched by the user on Windows Vista or Windows 7 do not execute correctly or even hang and close without explaining the reason for the refusal to work. This happens due to the incomplete degree of user rights in relation to programs, or more precisely, to operations on them. In other words, a user or a guest of a computer who is not an administrator can often run a program, but the operating system prohibits him from changing and configuring something in it.
Instructions
Step 1
What should be done in this case? Everything is very simple - you just need to run the program as administrator. This is done as follows: right-click on the shortcut of the program you want to run. In the context menu that appears, select the "Run as administrator" item.
Step 2
The display dims and the User Account Control dialog box appears on the screen. It will ask you to confirm the launch of the program with administrator rights. Click the "Yes" button. After a couple of seconds, the program will start.
