Setting certain parameters of the operating system often raises questions from personal computer users who have just started working with Windows.
Instructions
Step 1
Configure the operating system user profile settings by accessing the Accounts control panel menu. A large window should appear on your screen, select the settings item you want to change in it. Be careful, some of them contain not only settings that are clear from the name, but also some others responsible for similar functions.
Step 2
If you want to change or set the password for the user to enter the operating system, select the profile you need below and left-click on it. In the menu that opens, select the "Create password" item, then, following the instructions, enter and confirm the password for entering Windows for this profile.
Step 3
If you need to change the account type, click the appropriate setting item in the current menu. Be careful here, the operating system must contain at least one profile with administrator rights.
Step 4
To configure operating system startup options, select the last item to change login settings for users. Here you can configure the activation of the quick change of user profiles and configure security settings by selecting one or another welcome screen. To activate a particular configuration, mark the necessary items with the checkboxes, usually there are only two of them. Please read the detailed terms in advance.
