Nod 32 is one of the most common antivirus programs that protects your computer both on the Internet and against viruses from storage media. But like any program, it needs a timely update of the anti-virus databases. Otherwise, the protection of your computer will be a big question.

Instructions
Step 1
After installing Nod 32, the program icon should be in the tray. Click on this icon with the right mouse button. In the context menu that appears, select "Open Window". The program menu will appear, in it click on the "Update" tab. Then, in the window that appears, select "Update virus signature database". After that, the process of updating the anti-virus databases will begin.
Step 2
It is best to configure your antivirus to update its databases automatically. To do this, select the "Service" tab in the application menu. Then select "Scheduler". If you are using a modem to connect to the Internet, in the window that appears, check the "Update modem connection" item. Now the anti-virus database will be updated every time the computer is connected to the Internet. If your PC has a permanent Internet connection that does not require launching, check the "Regular" item. The program will be updated every hour.
Step 3
If you do not have access to the Internet, then the anti-virus databases can be updated in this way. Download signature databases to any computer that is connected to the Internet, and then copy to a USB flash drive. Then save them to a folder on your hard drive.
Step 4
Then open the Nod 32 menu. Press the F5 key. In the window that appears, click on "Update". Then in the right window that appears, select "Change". In the window that appears, enter the full path to the folder where you saved the downloaded anti-virus databases. The path to the folder can be simply copied. Then click OK. The window will close. In the next window, also click OK. After that, in the program menu, select the "Update" tab, then - "Update virus signature database". Wait a few seconds, the anti-virus databases will be updated.
