Step 1
First, select the compressed folder by clicking on it with the left mouse button once. Then click on it once with the right mouse button and in the action menu that appears, select the line "Extract files …".

You will see a window for extracting the archive, in which specify the directory of the future location of files and folders from the archive, the name of the folder in which the extracted files will be stored. You can also set the desired file extraction settings.
Step 3
After specifying all the necessary data for extraction, click the "OK" button, which is located at the bottom of the window.
Step 4
After that, the process of extracting files and folders from the archive will begin, which may take some time. The exact extraction time depends on the size of the files stored in the archive and on the performance of your personal computer.
