Step 2
After the scanner is connected, the system detects it as new hardware, identifies it and tries to install it. If the drivers are not found, you will see on the screen asking you to insert the installation disc into the drive. It is necessarily included in the scanner kit and is included with the package of documents attached to it. If not, look for the appropriate drivers on the Internet and install the found software.

In addition, you need to have a graphics editor in the list of software installed on your computer, if it is not on the installation disc supplied with the scanner. It is required to work with the scanned image. Depending on what type of image you intend to scan, it can be either a regular graphics editor or a text recognition program. You can go to scan mode through the interface of these software products.
Step 4
Look at the scanner settings, set the ones you need. In particular, you can set what image should be output - black and white or color, its resolution. In addition, you can turn on the preview function, which allows you to adjust the parameters of the resulting image before scanning.
Step 5
Place the document under the scanner lid according to the icon showing the up or down image should be the sheet. Start scanning a document by clicking the corresponding button. When the reading is over, this will be indicated by the indication or the appearance of a corresponding message. Switch to the mode of a graphic editor or a text recognizer, view the resulting picture, if its quality suits you, save it and scan the next one.
