Step 1

Open the image file you want to cut in preview mode. To do this, double-click on it with the left mouse button.

In the list of available standard programs, left-click once on the "Scissors" line. The image on the monitor screen will become blurred, and a program will start that allows you to save any fragment of the image on the screen, a separate window, or the entire screen as a separate picture.

To launch the Scissors application in a different way, open the Start menu and type the word "scissors" in the search box "Find programs and files". In the list that appears, select the "Scissors" line from the "Applications" block by clicking on it with the left mouse button once.

If you need to cut a certain rectangular fragment, then in the "Scissors" program window, click on the arrow next to the "Create" button and select the "Rectangle" line in the list that opens. To cut a freeform image, select the Freeform line.

In order to cut out any fragment, press the left mouse button on one of the borders of the image and, holding it, circle the desired contour. When you release the mouse button, a window for editing and saving the resulting image will open.

Save the cut fragment by clicking once with the left mouse button on the "Save fragment" button with the image of a floppy disk and selecting the necessary directory for the file location and its name.
