One way to indicate the copyright holder for an image posted on the Internet is to insert a logo into a photo. If a logo needs to be inserted into a large number of images, this simple operation can be automated.
Necessary
- - Photoshop program;
- - a file with a logo;
- - Photo.
Instructions
Step 1
Load the image where you want to insert the logo into Photoshop using the Open option from the File menu. Using the Place option from the same menu, insert the logo into the photo. After this action, the file with the snapshot will consist of two layers available for independent editing.
Step 2
Resize the logo if necessary. To do this, move one of the nodes located in the corners of the frame that surrounds the logo. If the inserted image exceeds the size of the photo, change the scale of the image using the Navigator palette so that the borders of the transformation frame are visible in the open document window.
Step 3
Typically, logos are saved to psd, png, eps or tiff files with a transparent background. If you have a logo on a colored background, remove it by selecting it with the Magic Wand Tool. Save the file with the logo on a transparent background for further work.
Step 4
If the logo looks brighter than the image in the photo, reduce the opacity of the layer with the logo by changing the value of the Opacity parameter in the layers palette.
Step 5
Use the Save for Web option from the File menu to save the logo photos.
Step 6
If you need to add a logo to three or five photos, you can manually edit each image. However, to insert a logo into several dozen images, it is better to automate the process. Collect all your photos in one folder and create a new folder where your logo images will be saved.
Step 7
Create an action with the sequence of commands required to insert the logo into the picture. To do this, use the Create new action button from the Actions palette. If this palette is not visible in the program window, open it with the Actions option from the Window menu. Enter a name for the new action.
Step 8
Start recording your action by clicking the Begin recording button. Perform all the actions necessary to insert the logo, starting with opening the file with the snapshot in a graphics editor. After saving the processing result, stop recording by clicking on the Stop recording button.
Step 9
Using the Batch option of the Automate group from the File menu, open the batch processing settings window. Specify the name of the action to be used when processing images, the folder with the original files and the folder to save the edited images. After clicking the OK button, the processing of images will begin.
