Not everyone and not always allowed to use ICQ in the workplace, however, many developers have taken this into account and have come up with a new feature for their clients, which is called "Antiboss". Also, this function can be installed as a special plugin.

Instructions
Step 1
Open your instant messenger settings. In the control menu, find the item of buttons for quick access to client functions, view them and find the button "Hide program" or with a similar name. If not available, configure a hotkey in the same menu, if your client's configuration allows it.

Note also that most ICQ messaging clients have various add-ons that can be downloaded from the client's support forums. The same applies to the "Antiboss" plugin, which you can additionally install into your program.
Step 3
If your ICQ does not have a special button to quickly hide the program from prying eyes, use the installation of the virtual screens program, for example, it can be AltDesk or any other utility of a similar purpose. It creates several virtual screens, each of which launches its own applications.
Step 4
You can switch between them using the mouse and hot keys. Dragging programs from one virtual screen to another is carried out using the left mouse button. Despite all the conveniences, the program is unlikely to be suitable for use in the workplace.
Step 5
Download and install the Miranda New Style software on your computer. This is an absolutely free messenger, each configuration item of which you can customize as you wish. In the shortcut settings there is a built-in command for F12 - the program is automatically minimized, even the icon from the tray disappears.
Step 6
In the menu, you can assign another button to execute this command. Please note that most builds of Miranda support this feature, however, it is best not to use their beta versions, as data loss may occur.
